Including watermelon in Dog´s diet
Though watermelon is rich in nutritious value, it cannot make up a larger part of your pet´s diet since eating too much watermelon will probably create ache in your dog´s tummy. Moreover, there are chances that it may result in diarrhea as well as other symptoms of gastrointestinal upset. Dogs are prone to have an upset stomach on trying a portion of new food that they are not accustomed to. So it is always better to give watermelon in the moderate value.
If your dog swallows one or two seeds, it would not cause any problem but make sure that it has not consumed much seed since the dog might end up a mere blockage in the digestive tract. These blockages are prone to affect the smaller dog in wide rage while larger dogs might pass the problem easily. Eating watermelon rind is also not safe either.
